Biography
Dr. J. Bradley “Brad” Sabatini was born and raised in Huntsville, AL. He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. His training continued at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, finishing at the top of his class and a member of the distinguished Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) academic society. He completed residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at The University of Alabama – Birmingham (UAB), and then a one-year fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at The OrthoCarolina Foot and Ankle Institute in Charlotte, NC.
Dr. Sabatini returned home to Huntsville to practice medicine in 2017, joining The Orthopaedic Center (TOC) to help meet the orthopaedic needs of patients across North Alabama. He specializes in minimally invasive foot and ankle surgery, ankle instability, athletic foot and ankle injuries, ankle joint replacement, lower extremity trauma, and all aspects of foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Sabatini’s philosophy of care is to do the least invasive treatment to get patients back to doing the things that they want to do. Sometimes that involves surgery, and when it does, he utilizes soft-tissue sparing techniques, such as minimally invasive procedures in order to minimize pain and accelerate recovery. For example, he performs most of his bunion surgery minimally invasively through just a few poke hole incisions. He also utilizes the latest technology and implants such as the Arthrex Internal Brace for ankle instability surgery to allow patients to walk in just 2 weeks. His goal is to get patients moving and walking again as soon as safely possible.
Dr. Sabatini and his wife Meggy have two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, golf, outdoor activities, and barbequing. Dr. Sabatini is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.
